”You had this incredible hunger to know God and follow him. But you also wanted to be circumstantially secure and well-liked. Those just aren’t compatible with following him. We are safe because He is with us; not because our circumstances are easy. And trying to get everyone to like you only made you less a person than God made you to be. When you started following what God put in your heart, the other kingdom had to collapse. It was inevitable if not enviable.” -Wayne Jacobsen-
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he (Jesus) explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself (Jesus). He (Jesus) said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” -Luke 24:27,44-
Christians are always asked to read the bible in context, sadly most of them (even leaders) have a misconception about “reading the bible in context”. Reading the bible in context is not reading the entire passage, entire chapter, entire book or even the entire bible.
The context of the bible is all about Jesus and His finish work on the cross. When we read the entire bible and miss out Jesus and His finished work on the cross, we become just like the pharisees, turning the bible into just another moral or religious book.
“You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” -John 5:39-40-
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. -Romans 12:2-
The freedom of not being pressured/mold (conforming to) by people around you (or the world) is to realize and believe that your true identity is found in Christ. One practical way to do so is to constantly (daily) renewing your mind with who God say your are (reading the bible). Be set free!

”For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority” -Colossians 2:9-10
Christians are suppose to be commander instead of a beggar. Sadly Christians doesn’t know what they have in Christ, hence they always act like a beggar instead of a commander. They are begging God for what He has already given and accomplish on the Cross instead of using their given authority to command the “mountains” in life to be cast into the sea. Start discovering what Christ has accomplish for you and you will soar on wings like eagles!

Spiritual truth from Chronicle of Narnia Prince CaspianLucy: “Aslan, you’re bigger.”
Aslan: “That is because you are older, little one,”
Lucy: “Not because you are?”
Aslan: “I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger.”As we abide and grow in Christ, we will be able to see God bigger than all our problem. Not because God has grown bigger, but we’ve been growing in Christ and fixing our eye on Jesus instead of our circumstances in life.

Today I played football for the first time in my life.
Tomorrow = Last day….
2 more days….
Nothing we can do (good works) to make God loves us more and nothing we can do (sins) to make Him loves us less. Indeed God’s love towards mankind is independent of our actions. The sins in our life do not and will not decrease or stop God from loving us, but it sure will affect our love towards God and hinders us from responding to God’s love. God will not hide from us because of our sins, but we ourselves will tend to hide from God because of our sins.

When Jesus sets us free, He sets us free FROM sin, not free TO sin.

Titus 2:11-15 NKJV”For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority.
Let no one despise you.”When men use God’s Grace as a excuse to sin or justify their sins, they don’t really know Grace. There is still a heart issue to be dealt with.

Something’s wrong with my phone!
If you read scripture and think that you need to be taught by someone or with the mindset of what you think/feel is right, with what others has taught you, or by your experience in life and use those to define scripture, then you won’t know God’s true nature. In fact you will most likely be living on a ‘second-hand’ knowledge of God if you need someone to validate what you read. How then God can be personal to you?Let scripture defines scripture and let the Holy Spirit be your teacher as you read the scripture. Then you will be able to see and learn the true nature of God who is good, merciful, gracious and loving!”But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye NEED NOT THAT ANY MAN TEACH YOU: but as the same anointing teacheth you of ALL THINGS, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” – 1 John 2:27- (Also read Hebrew 8:11, 1 Corinthians 2:10-12, Ephesians 1:17, John 6:45, John 14:26, John 16:13)
Let’s reason (All the verses below are from KJV)Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers -1 Tim 1:9-For as by one man’s (Adam) disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (Jesus) shall many be made righteous.(Rom 5:19) For he hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who (Jesus) knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (Jesus). (2 Cor 5:21)
Statement 1: The law is not made for a righteous man
Statement 2: Anyone who believe in Jesus Christ (Christian) is being made righteous. Conclusion: If the law is not made for righteous man and all who believe in Jesus Christ is now righteous, then we can conclude that the law is not made for those in Christ now(Christians).Suspect the conclusion is made out of verse taken out of context?
Check out Rom 10:4, Rom 6:14, Rom 7:4, Gal 2:19 and Gal 3:23-25, .Righteousness does not come from living by the law, but from Christ as Paul said in Philippians 3:9 “And be found in him, not having mine OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, which is OF THE LAW, but that which is THROUGH the FAITH OF CHRIST the RIGHTEOUSNESS which is OF GOD by faith:”
Now the WORKS of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. -Gal5:19-21-
But the FRUIT of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is NO LAW. -Gal 5:22-23-
Can you spot the difference between flesh and Spirit? The manifestation of flesh is know as WORKS (not fruit) of the flesh and these is measured by the law. As for the Spirit it is called FRUIT (not works) of the Spirit and there is no law to measure.
Let’s do some reasoning here.Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” THE LAW IS NOT BASED ON FAITH; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” -Galatians 3:11-12-But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is NOT FROM FAITH; and everything that does not come from faith IS SIN. -Romans 14:23
Statement 1:If everything that does not come from faith is SIN and
Statement 2:The law is NOT based on faith,
Conclusion: Then what are you doing when you are trying to keep the law?Simple logic and reasoning here, don’t be shock or surprise with your conclusion. Think the conclusion is base on statement that are taken out of context? Look up 1 Corinthians 15:56 and Romans 7:5.The law is to bring death and magnify your sin, so that you will come to the end of your self-righteousness and show you that you need a Savior and His name is Jesus Christ.
One more month and I am so gonna miss you guys.
If Joseph is a picture of Jesus, then what can we learn about Jesus’ FORGIVENESS through the life of Joseph? Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph; does my father still live?” But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence. And Joseph said to his brothers, “Please COME NEAR to me.” So they came near. Then he said: “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. But now, DO NOT therefore be GRIEVED or ANGRY with YOURSELVES because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life. (Gen 45:3-5)
When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may actually REPAY US FOR ALL THE EVIL which we did to him.” So they sent messengers to Joseph, saying, “Before your father died he commanded, saying, ‘Thus you shall say to Joseph: “I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.”’ Now, PLEASE, FORGIVE the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph WEPT when they spoke to him. (Gen 50:15-17)
Then his brothers also went and FELL DOWN before his face, and they said, “Behold, we are YOUR SERVANTS.” Joseph said to them, “DO NOT BE AFRAID, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Now therefore, DO NOT BE AFRAID; I will PROVIDE for you AND your little ones.” And he COMFORTED them and spoke KINDLY to them.(Gen 50:18-21)

Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” -Luke 17:20-21-

”Our forefathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” -John 6:31-33-

“But do not think I (Jesus) will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?” -John 5:45-47-

If you are not free to do nothing, you are not free to do anything. Take giving for example; If you are not free to not give, then you are not free to give. -Paul Anderson Walsh-
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed -John 18:37-Jesus came to set us free, He did not came to make robots.
I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness— the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. -Col 1:25-27
Christ in ME, the HOPE OF GLORY! =)
to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the DAY OF VENGEANCE of our God, to comfort all who mourn. –Isaiah 61:2-
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Then he rolled up the scroll- Luke 4:19-20a-Interesting! If you were to compare the reading of Jesus recorded in Luke 4:19 with Isaiah 66:2 you will notice that Jesus rolled up the scroll before finishing the sentence. And I see John 3:17 right here!
Psalm 91.

The greatest among you will be your servant. -Mat 23:11-
Religion: Serve other to BECOME great
Jesus: Serve other BECAUSE you are already great in Christ
And my speech and my preaching was NOT WITH enticing WORDS of man’s wisdom, but in DEMONSTRATION of the Spirit and of POWER -1 Cor 2:4-
Having a FORM OF GODLINESS, but DENYING THE POWER thereof: from such turn away. Ever learning, and never able to come to the KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH – 2 Tim 3:5,7-Now I see a bigger picture and it makes sense!
God gives and takes away?
Religion: Takes Job 1:21 out of context and gave God the identity of the devil to instill fear in believer so that they will behave.Jesus: In John 10:10 Jesus said that the devil is the one that steals kills and destroys while He is the one who come to give us abundant life. Jesus do gives and takes away, but the only thing that He gives is Eternal Life and the only thing that He takes away is sin! Hallelujah!!
In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. -Heb 5:12-13-
We will forever be feeding on milk, being a baby and not grow if we do not know our position in Christ as being righteous before God.
You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. -Galatians 5:4-
Definition of ‘Fallen away from grace’ :Religion: When you fail to obey the LAWS and keep breaking the laws or when you FAILED to be justified by the law, you have ‘fallen away from grace’.Jesus: When you WANT TO BE justified by law and not what Jesus has done for you on the cross, you have ‘fallen away from grace’.
My face is an elbow magnet. Got another kiss yesterday.

Pharisees vs Disciples
Religion: Jesus said “You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life”. -Jn 5:39-40-Christianity: Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote–Jesus of Nazareth. -Jn 1:45-
For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man (Christ) the many will be made righteous. -Romans 5:19-
Just as we ‘are sinners’ not because of anything we did or didn’t do, but because of what Adam did. So also now we who believe ‘are saints’ not because of anything we did or didn’t do, but because of what Christ did!

Since we can not possibly understand what others have been through that has lead them to think and believe the way they do, then our love for them must be based on something that surpasses our understanding. People may do things that hurt us but when God’s love heals those hurts, we can see that those hurts go deeper in the other person than what was inflicted on us. Hurting people, hurt people. Love those who hurt you.

“…and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.” -Matt 18:17
Treat him as a pagan or a tax collector means:Religion: Expel, excommunicate and don’t have anything to do with that person for he is no longer your brother. Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.Jesus: Seek, love and dine with them. Love your enemies and pray them. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
Are you willing to let go of determining what’s right and wrong in others’ lives so that you can love them instead of judging them?

On The mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:3-5)
Moses represent the Law, Elijah represent the Prophet, Jesus represent God. In verse 4, Peter is trying to make the 3 equal by building up three shelters for 3 of them, but God intervene and said “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”In the mist of the Law and the Prophet, God ask us to listen to His Son, for the laws and prophets merely point toward His Son, Jesus! (Lk 24: 27,44)

”Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession… These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.” -Ex 19:5-6
The Mosaic Covenant (+10 commandments) is only between God and the Jews. The funny thing is that some of the Gentiles are trying to keep and claim a covenant that does not even belong to them. By doing so they just broke the 10th commandment, coveting.
Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was POWERFUL IN SPEECH and action. -Acts 7:22-
Moses said to the LORD, “O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither IN THE PAST nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am SLOW OF SPEECH and tongue.” -Exodus 4:10-Yet another revelation on the nature of Jesus.
What’s your diet like and who have been feeding you? When you are feeding on the wrong diet and fall sick, you just need to throw-up and you will feel much better.

Learnt something at World Harvest today: “You might be logically correct but ‘scripturally’ incorrect.” -Rev. David Wong-
The context for this is just awesome!
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. -Galatians 5:1, John 8:36-
The only battle you need to win is within yourself. Once you know the truth, nothing can take it away from you.

Those were the days…
Thinks that someone have pride problem? Trying to fix them? My advice, don’t waste your time because to the other party you may in fact be the one with pride problem instead. You don’t need to confront pride, you only have to let it have it’s way. Pride doesn’t have to be attack, it will collapse at it’s own weight. Time will tell, wait and see.
10 August at 18:06
The more you try to control, the more you are controlled. For when you try to control another person, that person is likely to hide the true self from you, leading you to believe something about them that is not real. Only when you allow each other to be who they are, as difficult as it might be at times, then only will you develop real relationships.
Blister on my feet, ouch!
To the holy and faithful brothers in Christ at Colosse: Grace and peace to you from God our Father. -Colossians 1:2-In Religion: God is Holy, you are not, start working, keep trying.

We have been saying that Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness. Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised, or before? It was NOT AFTER, BUT BEFORE! -Romans 4:9-10-Religion: Faith –> Obedience –> Righteousness

“The son say, ‘Father, I have sinned against you and no longer worthy to be called your son. “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ -Luke 15:21-24- READ COMMENT BELOW
Religion: “Jesus died for you. What will you do for Him?” Since Jesus died on the cross for you when you don’t deserve, don’t you think you are obligated or indebted to God. Continue to work so that you no longer owe God. Comparing what Jesus did on the cross for you and what you did, do you even think you are worthy to be called son? You must be content to be nothing more than a servant.
Jesus: Not even interested in what you can offer back in service for what He has done on the cross (Grace). All He cares about is being a Father to you. The reason He went to the cross: Not to make us servants but Sons and Daughters! (Relationship)

Woman who had lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was at the Pharisee’s house, she brought perfume…Then she wiped them (Jesus’ feet) with her hair kissed them and poured perfume on them…Pharisee “If he would know who is touching him… she is a sinner” Lk 7:37-39
When you are in your deepest sin:
Religion: God need to deal with your sin first.
Jesus: No longer interested in your sin(dealt with), but YOU!
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the AUTHOR and PERFECTER of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. -Heb 12:2-
Religion: Your obedience in your walk with God is the evidence that you’ve been saved.
Jesus: The cross is the evidence that you have been saved.
Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. -John 17:3-
Religion: Eternal life is all about where will you go ‘after life’ (Heaven or Hell)
Jesus: Eternal life is all about having a relationship and knowing Jesus and God the Father in our ‘present life’
Enjoyed myself today. It is indeed a meaningful day. It’s not about the activities, it’s all about bonding with the people! Love you guys, you know who you are

But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. -Matt 10:33
Again he DENIED it… those standing near said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them… He began to call down CURSES on himself, and he SWORE to them, “I DON’T KNOW this man (Jesus) you’re talking about.” -Mk 14:70-71
Peter disowned Jesus 3 times, did Jesus disown Peter before the Father in Heaven? Mercy, Grace and Love!
Before the cross: “Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer”. -Deut 10:16-
After the cross: “No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise is not from men, but from God”. -Rom 2:29
Can you spot the difference? This is a Great Revelation to me!
Paintball : The amount of bullets was a let down.
Just finish watching ‘The Truman Show’. Worth every single second.

Anyone seen this movie? Anyone still having this movie? Today God has revealed some valuable spiritual lesson to me through this movie that I watched during primary school
Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. -Luke 17:33-
Life comes from death. We must first let our ways and our thinking that our doing is what saves us, die. With that dead, then we learn the way of Love.
Perfect love drives out fear -1 Jn 4:18-
Those who try to save themself from the wrath of God cannot really love God, because they only love themself, trying to escape God’s wrath. The only reason why they are following God is because they are afraid that He will destroy them if they don’t, and that’s still only self-love and not yet living in the love that Jesus want us to
What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; but Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained it. Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the “stumbling stone.” -Rom 9:30-32
Not what we do, but Who we Trust!
Just as I thought I’ve adapted to the culture shock, to my surprise it is just the beginning of it! More to come!
Dislike shrimp behind stones. Better to open door see mountain.

“Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” -2 Cor 3:4-6-
Pharisees caught woman in adultery (Jn 8:3-11)
Law says put to death those who commit adultery (Jn 8:5)
Jesus says to adulteress,”Then neither do I condemn you” (Jn 8:11)
Religion: Men’s attempt to control both God and men with law and fear
Jesus: God’s grace and mercy attempt to set men free with love
God sent his Son,born under law,to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons (Gal 4:4)
“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” -John 17:8-
Religion: You are not worthy to approach God until you clean yourself and get rid of all the mess or sin in your life.
Jesus: Come just as dirty and unworthy as you are, for only I can cleanse you from all the mess or sin in your life.
As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit–just as it has taught you, remain in him. -1 John 2:27
Religion: You cannot know God until you have the right doctrine taught by ‘leaders’
Jesus: You know God when you abide in me, for I AM THE WAY!
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. -Matt 7:7-8
A religious system says JUST DO and FOLLOW as you are commanded without questioning. But Jesus says “keep ASKING, SEEKING and KNOCKING until you find Me”
Religion = control
Jesus = free will
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ -Eph 3:17b, 18-
Wow, no wonder it is so hard for us to comprehend God’s love. How can we, in a 3 dimension world comprehend a 4 dimension love?! Amazing love and grace way beyond comprehension.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. -Gen 1:27, 2:7-
If we are part of God, isn’t it natural for Him to love us bountifully? Loving us is as if He is loving part of Himself. No more doubting His love!
Rediscovering faith
It’s OK to hold on to what you strongly believe in.
It’s OK to share with others what you strongly believe in.
It’s OK to disagree with what you think is different from what you strongly believe in
But it is NOT OK to make others conform to what you strongly believe in, no matter the intention!
And find out what pleases the Lord. -Eph 5:10
And without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God. -Heb 11:6a
and EVERYTHING that does not come from FAITH is sin.-Rom 14:23c
God does not demand our obedience. This is because we can obey God without trusting Him. As we trust God however we cannot be disobedient to him because disobedience flows from our mistrust towards God. Our obedient could be sin without faith/trust
Adam and Eve (Gen 3:10), Moses (Ex 3:6), Isaiah (Isa 6:5), Israelite (Dt 5:24-27), Elijah (1Kgs 19:13), Gideon Jgs 6:22-23, Manoah (Jgs 13:22-23), Peter (Lk5-10)
It is not God who cannot bear to look on our sin, but that we in our sin can’t bear to look on God. He’s not the one who hides. We are. It’s not God, it’s our misconception. Jesus and the Cross revealed the very true nature of God to clear our misconception
Just as we do not need to commit any sin to make us a sinner or sinful (we are sinful by nature of our birth) and the sins we commit are just manifestation of our sinful nature. Similarly Jesus does not need to give His life to love us (for He is LOVE and already loves us). The cross that Jesus chooses to hang on is just the manifestation of His love for us! Amazing love and grace, thank you Jesus!
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” -Romans 8:15-
Fear, never draw us any closer to God. It will only distorts the Father’s love for us and rob our identity as children of God. Those who still fear God will never experience the love that the Father is longing to give them.
Then Jesus said to them (The Pharisees), “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?” -Luke 6:9-
A mind of a Pharisee thinks truth is more important than love, but Jesus showed us that love is the most important part of truth. Without love we neither have nor know The Truth, for He is love.
Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote–Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” –John 1:45-
All of the bible is in God, but not all of God is in the bible. God is so much bigger than what we think we know. The bible is always supposed to reveal Jesus to us, many people like the Pharisees has however made it the fourth Godhead.
He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. -Luke 8:24b-25a-
Where is your faith? Are you putting faith in your faith, your prayer, your service, your confession, your knowlege of God, your repentant or faith in Christ alone? Ponder.
Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” -John 20:29-
The world says seeing is believing, The Bible says believing is seeing
”And He (God) is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.” – Acts 17:25-
It is amazingly wonderful to know that I don’t have to serve God. I get to!

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.-John 1:14-
When it comes to reading or studying the bible, are you more interested in defending God’s word or meeting the Living Word?
Dirk Nowitzki deserved every bit of being the MVP and Champion for the NBA 2011 Final. Finally this long awaited moment has come true!
Celebrate Mavs! History maker! Redeemed what they lost in 2006 with 4-2! Good job Mavs.
1 quarter left and leading by 9. Will this be the final match? I really do hope so! Go claim your ring Nowitzki!
God did not sacrifice Jesus for us. He gave us Jesus. John 3:16

Game 5 belongs to the Mavs! One more game to win and they will be history maker!
7 points lead with 33.3sec more to go! Quite impossible for the Heat to win now…
Mavs 5 points lead with 1:26 min to go! Will Mario Chalmer’s 3 point buzzer beater in the first quarter causes the Mavs to lose again? I hope not!
1 Corinthians 13:13 NASB
But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. -1 cor 13:13-
It’s all about LOVE

But now he (Christ) has appeared ONCE FOR ALL at the end of the ages to DO AWAY with sin by the sacrifice of himself. So Christ was sacrificed ONCE to TAKE AWAY the sins of many people. DAY AFTER DAY every priest stands and performs his religious duties; AGAIN AND AGAIN he offers the same sacrifices, which can NEVER TAKE AWAY sins. -Heb 9:26,28a, 10:11-
Hanging on the cross, Jesus said “It is finish!” -John 19:30-
Game 4: The Mavs won by 3. Tied with a 2-2 series!
Leading by 3 with 14 sec to go!! Finish it Mavs!!
Leading by 1!
OT???!?!?
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. – 2 Cor 11:3 (KJV)-
When Christianity becomes complex, it is a sign that it is departing from Christ. The danger that we constantly face is that we get involved in the things about Christ and fail to live in simplicity (a relationship with Christ).
Chamlers buzzer beater (was actually a back-court violation) changes the whole momentum of the game. It was the first quarter that lead to the Maverick’s lost for the Mavericks scored more than the Heat in the 2nd 3rd and 4th quarter of the game. Too bad Dirk’s last short couldn’t bring the game to OT. Good game Mavs!
Phew !!! That was a really close one for the Mavericks! What a clutch play~~
15 point trail…
Dallas not performing well in 3rd quarter, many misses and turnover
Tight match between the Mav and Heat, 28-28 first quarter, 21-21 second quarter. Draw at 51-51 in the first half. What would be outcome of second half?
51-51 !!!
Politic:
Can be seen where and when people are only interested in you when they are losing control. Giving you what they’ve never gave before, agreeing with you although they don’t really agree, making promising statement and even slander others just to win your trust and buy you over. All they care about is more about their authority, power and control instead of the people itself.
First game wont by Heat, but it’s not over yet. Go Mavs!

”Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it” -James 4:11-
Slander = Make false and damaging statements about (someone)
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” -Exodus 3:14-
When God said I AM WHO I AM, what does that tell you about the nature and characteristic of God? It is tremendously meaningful to me when I read this again! Amazing!

Lets see what happened in NBA 2006 and 2011… (read below comment)
NBA 2006 Finals : Mavericks vs Heat
2006 : Heat for the first time in history making their appearance in the NBA Finals facing the Mavericks
2006 : Mavericks for the first time in history making their appearance in the NBA Finals facing the Heat
After 5 years!
NBA 2011 Finals : Mavericks vs Heat
2011: Heat for the second time making their way to the NBA Finals against the Mavericks again.
2011: Mavericks for the second time making their way to the NBA Finals against the Heat again.
Both team for the first time arriving in the NBA finals in 2006.
Both team for the second time appearing in the NBA finals this year and meeting each other again.
So to be fair, this time Maverick should take the trophy!
With 2 minutes left Heat was trailing 10 points. After one minute, they are all even with the Bulls and finally having a 3 point lead. The Heat claims victory with LeBron blocking Rose’ final 3 point attempt to tie the game. Great come back by the Heat!
Hopefully tomorrow will be the last match for the Mavericks!
Game 4, 3-1. Mavericks with a nice comeback in the 4th quarter. 1 more game to go?
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9
When we rely purely on logic and common sense in trying to figure God out, we are defying and limiting our Almighty God. Putting Him in a box of principles of thought and without us realizing, we are creating God with our own logic and sense, breaking the 2nd commandment
Game 3. 2-1
Bad landing, sprained ankle. Getting old, prone to injury. Thank God it wasn’t the worst.
Nowitzki’s historical night, with his perfect 24-for-24 shot on the free throw breaking the previous free throw record that was held by Boston’s Paul Pierce with a 21-for-21 game in a 2003. Not forgetting his 12-for-15 effort from the field contributing 48 points, leading the Mavericks to victory in the Western Conf. Finals Game 1. Go Nowitzki, go Mavericks!
The Mavericks take the lead for the first game with Nowitzki scoring 48 points! Way to go Mav!
Without knowing the extend of God loves for me, it would be impossible for me to COMPLETELY trust God with ‘ME’. Not being able to COMPLETELY trust God with ‘ME’ makes it impossible for me to surrender myself to God.
Hence the key to complete surrender is to first know how much God loves me and then believe it in my heart. However knowing in mind without believing in the heart is what most of us are struggling with
-Ephesians 3:14-21-
Durant on fire!
The more I know and understand about the significants of what has been done on the Cross, the more significant and personal Jesus is to me. Thank you Jesus for your the love that you’ve displayed on the Cross. Seeking for more revelation from the Holy Spirit.

If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. -Galatians 6:3
The nature of deception is that we don’t know that we are deceived. If we know that we are deceived, then that’s not call deception.

Dallas Mavericks raining 20 three pointer, crushing and drowning the final hope of the NBA 2 times defending champion LA Lakers with a 4-0 streak, sending them home speechless while stomp gloriously into Western Conference Finals! Good Job Jason Terry!
Most Christian only get their ‘First Love’ right only for the first 24 hours. Then they start reading the bible with the motive of finding out what they should/must or shouldn’t/mustn’t do in order to ‘please God’ ‘favor God’ ‘love God’ or even ‘to maintain fellowship with God’. All these cause them to lose sight of The Word of God (Jesus Christ Himself) and it becomes just another religious reading.
Knowing the fact that it is IMPOSSIBLE to ‘please God’ ‘favor God’ ‘love God’ or even ‘to maintain fellowship with God’ except through faith alone as stated in Hebrews 11:6.Yet many still make Christianity as if it is a performance base instead of a relationship base.
Hallelujah, God’s amazing revelation again! In deed He is at work! I’m ever amaze at the way You work O Lord.

Religion does not help change/transform a person, all it does is make people act, hide, control and suppress their negative desire/attitude/thought/behavior. However as we daily abide in God’s love, the power of God’s love is able to bring progressive transformation even without us realizing until we look back. Are you transforming or merely behaving?
Well done Nowitzki!
“You mean he has deceived you also?” the Pharisees retorted.”Has any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed in him?” John 7:47-48
It is difficult for people to come out of religion. Mainly because people who are in it doesn’t even recognize it.
One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ. Is Christ devided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptiszed into the name of Paul?” -1 Cor 1:12,13
In today’s language: Some says “I follow this doctrine”, some says “I follow that doctrine”. Are we being lead by a doctrine or Christ as Head?
Phew, that was a close shot! Well done Mavericks!
Spiritual growth is the result of faith and love which are ‘intrinsic’. Yet religious people will always try to measure spiritual growth ‘extrinsically’. Since they judge others spiritual growth extrinsically, all the more they will try to keep up with their external appearance for the fear of being judge by the same measure. Hence they are driven by fear instead of faith and love. That’s how we lose our ‘First Love’
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. -1 John 4:8-
Which one come first? Love others to show we know God, or let God love us so much so that His love enables us to Love others? The former answer would makes us a hypocrite. Letting God loves us come first, not vice-versa.
It’s another revelation from God, things are becoming clearer now as I see God at work. Jesus continue to take the lead and work among us. Father do as you will in your perfect timing!
Precious experience today:
The more we try to formalize, plan and give our best humanly idea and thought in ‘doing something for God’, the more difficult it is for God to give us His thought, ideas and plan to work within us. It is only when we let go of all our trying, thinking or planning ‘for God’; and just by abiding, be-stilling and reseting in God’s love that enable us to listen to what God has in mind for us.
1 May at 02:09
Jesus says “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless -John 13:34, Titus 3:9-
When people loves doctrines more than people, Christianity becomes just another religion instead of an authentic relationship with God
Religions say “Strive, try and do”. Christ says “Done, just have faith in Me and live in My love”
Are your ‘doing for God’ comes from pressure or expectation from others due to the position you are in or even for reputation sake? If so, your so called ‘doing for God’ might be a religious act even without you yourself realizing.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11
We know that we are trusting God when we stop ‘wishing’ that our life will change.
Christians often think that we are supposed to humble ourself before God in order to ‘gain’ His favor. Humbling ourself before God is not at all wrong. However thinking that by humbling ourself can ‘earn’ God’s favor causes many to portray false humility (self righteous in disguise) without us realizing, hence it hinders many believer from recognizing our identity in Christ.
God is LOVE! He is not a policeman that catches us for doing wrong thing or to oblige us to following His command/instruction. All He want for us is to abide in His love. By abiding in His love, Jesus’s way and instruction/command will be more attractive than the ways of the world.
God loves us more than the fruits we can produce. Agree? If so, why then are we striving to produce the fruits to justify His love for us instead of living in His love?
False humility is self-righteous in disguise
Ritual is something you do when there is no relationship.
If Christians read the bible just to find instructions to follows, commands to obey or which rule not to break, then even a non-Christian can read it that way and do the same. What then is the different between a bible reading Christian and a bible reading non-Christian? Isn’t that just another form of religion?
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” -1 Sam 16:7-
In God’s eyes, why we do something is far more important than what we do.

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life -John 6:39-40-
It is possible to know the Word of God and not knowing the God of the Word. When quiet time becomes a ritual instead of a relationship, it’s dead. This is when we start meeting a habit instead of a Person
17 April
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast. -Ephesians 2:8,9-
God’s love for us is not base on our performance. Why then majority of Christian still judge their brother/sister’s walk with God base on their attendance or commitment in various meeting held by the congregation?

Most people are discontent because they wrongly equate satisfaction with positive circumstances and increased possessions. Many Christians seem to think that sheltering believers from all difficulties is the highest expression of God’s grace. The so-called prosperity gospel -the philosophical offspring of our self-centered, godless society- is a major contributor to that error. –John F. MacArthur–

When I pray, I do not move the hands of God for He is Sovereign. Instead I am drawn closer to Him and know Him more, for I know He is in control. When I pray, God do not remove the mountains in my life, instead He gives me the strength and energy to climb it or even carry me through the mountains if I am too weak. God is NOT interested in changing the circumstance of my life, He is more interested in changing me.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works,so that no-one can boast. What good is it,my brothers,if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? In the same way, faith by itself,if it is not accompanied by action,is dead. As the body without the spirit is dead,so faith without deeds is dead (Eph 2:8-9, Jam 2:14,17,26)

The greatest paradox in history: Jesus is fully man and fully God at the same time. A life as disciple of Christ is a paradox too. We can only find life, when we lose our own life for Christ sake (Matt 10:39), victory begin when we surrender to Christ, the last shall be first (Matt 19:30), we will only be exalted when we humble ourself (Matt 23:12). This paradox is however the only kind of life that is worth living

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” -Ephesians 5:6-7, 1 Corinthians 15:33-

When God ask us to give up something, it is for the sake of the only thing that worth having (which is a relationship with Him). If we were to give up something just for the sake of giving them up, then it will be worthless and meaningless.

Before we start playing, the sun was scorching so we asked God to send us clouds. True enough after a few match God sent us clouds. Before we play for final, the sky turns dark and there were lightning and thunder. Wanting to complete our the competition we once again asked God to hold back the rain. True enough by God’s grace the rain only start to pour right after we finish the game. Praise the Lord, glory to God. -24 Oct 2010-

The word “blessed” Jesus used in the beatitudes is from the Greek word makarios, which means to be happy or blissful, but it also means a self-contained happiness. Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God”.To be pure in heart is to seek to live a holy life, because that is the secret to happiness. If you want to be happy, then seek to be holy. Don’t chase after happiness. Chase after holiness -6 Oct 2010-

Still prefer psychological thriller over sci-fi films. Though the idea of Inception is something new and fresh, but it is base on science fiction, was expecting more from the plot, not much of a twist. Given a choice, I would choose Shutter Island over Inception. -July 29 10-
