Work at work place,
overtime at home.
Work from Monday to Friday,
overtime on Saturday and Sunday.
Overtime is not compulsory,
but without overtime it is impossible to finish up the works.
Imparting knowledge and touching lives is what I am suppose and want to do,
however the ‘admin works’ which is not what I desire to do most seems to be more urgent and important.
Students are suppose to be my priority,
but it seems to me that marking their homeworks and test is on top of the list.
School Holiday is the only chance for me to catch up with old time buddies,
it is also the only time for me to catch up with undone work and preparation for the upcoming week and months.
Fierce is what is expected of me,
but it is not my nature and even not who I want to be,
Being too kind will not only get myself in trouble,
I might also be label as irresponsible.
Writing all these is not to complain,
but to explain and share with other about the nature of my job.
It also kinda defeat the whole purpose of me wanting to do it.
