I have played many types of computer games, RTS (real time strategy), RPG (Role playing game), MMORPG (massive multilayer online role playing game), first person, action, adventure, puzzle, arcade, fighting… etc.
All those games that I played doesn’t last long. I would only play for a few month or the most a year and quit playing those games, those game would either be too easy(completed withing a few month) , too imbalance(there are some unit or character that are too strong) too boring (playing the same old thing), or too time consuming (leveling).
But there is one game that caught my attention and interest, it is not too easy, too hard, too imbalance, too boring or even time consuming.

DOTA All-Stars
I think most of you would have guessed WC3 Frozen Throne-Dota All-Stars, however it is not the best game I have ever played, though it is not bad, I only played for a year and stopped. Try guessing again then.

NOOoo!!!! It was only until when i grab hold of “The best game I have ever played”when it was first released in 1998, (and I was only 10 years old that time) that i stop Diablo completely. Both game are produced by the same company Blizzard. The reason why i was able to play Diablo for almost a year is because it was the only RPG game that offer free multilayer through BattleNet. Diablo is not bad though, I could rarely find other RPG game that are better than Diablo during that time. But nothing can be compare to this indescribable game………

StarCraft Brood War
Well I kinda got “addicted” to this game. I am fortunate enough to be able to play it via BattleNet, despite I am using those “eh-hem” u know what CD. Each time I play it the more I wanted to play. Not wanting to stop, too bad was only using 56k dial-up modem streamyx were not in the market yet that time, so I was not able to enjoy the game to its full, because of laggyness and frequent disconnect, and I can only play at certain hour when people wouldn’t call the house phone ( because when I connect to the internet via dial-up modem, the phone will be engage and people would not be able to get through)
However these doesn’t stop me from playing. I even enjoy challenging those AI. Play till 1v7 computer also no problem already lol. Really play till “siao” la that time.
Downloaded those enjoyable “Use Map Setting” from BattleNet and play each of these map are really very fun and challenging to play. However i still prefer to play those Melee type with friends on the net. The game is very balance, each and every race have its own advantage and disadvantage and it all depend on your skills and strategy in order to win the game. It is also a psychological game, you have to play with you opponent mind, read their mind and moves, manipulate them and take control of what they are about to do
This is not a sure win game if you choose a specific race or the more amount of player against the less amount of player. It’s all about skills, they way you play the game, the tactic you use, the understanding of your opponent moves, the experience you had, knowing the advantage and disadvantage of each unit and how fast you can think and make changes. StarCraft really stimulate your mind if you really get in to it.
Now I am really looking forward for StarCraft II hope that it would be even better than StarCraft BroodWar
Well this is the only game that I have played for the longest time. I played this game for 5 years until i stop during PMR time. Now I am really looking forward for StarCraft II hope that it would be even better than StarCraft BroodWar. While waiting for StarCraft II, now I am back to this addictive game, playing with “feeder ED” again lol. Hope I wont get addicted again because I am having the busiest semester. Really cant wait for StarCraft II to be officially release.
