Today really isn’t my day. Want to know why? Then read on my grandma story. With out reason I woke up earlier than usual 7.a.m. (usually I will wake up at 7.30-40). Since I will be going to college on my, I left house at 7.40a.m, hopping that I will be able to reach college earlier to do some revision before my Management Accounting test, which will start on 9a.m.
When I first start my car and head to Kampung Melayu, everything seems to be fine, until I reach the traffic light. At first the traffic police was letting the car on my side go, so I thought that I might be able to pass as well, who knows the police stopped the car in front of me by the time I was right in front of the traffic light !!!! Being stop for a while is not a problem, but the police stopped us for more than 15 minute!!! And when he released us, I was stopped again by the police at the other end of another traffic light!!!! Great, and now that I have been surrounded by those motorcycles, I was forced to wind up my window in order to prevent myself from getting lung cancer or whatever lung infection.
Everything seems to be fine after I get on Ampang Elevator Highway. And when I was about to pay toll, I saw my friend’s car in front of me. After paying the toll I over took my friend and continues my journey to college. Without knowing why, I decided to take the route that is longer but usually smoother. However today was not as usual as the other days, cars were pilling up as if there were no tomorrow. Stuck there for almost 10 minute, then I finally got to another lane which have less car.
Got over the jam and finally reached the college’s car park, but guess what? Before being able to enter, the machine started to have problem generating ticket, causing the car right in front of me to station there for almost 5 minute before the person in charge came to solve the problem. If only I am able to go first, then I would not have to waste my 5 minute there since I am using a season pass and does not require a ticket. When I entered the car park, I saw my friend (which I overtook just now, and uses the normal route) was already at the bus stop. I just realize I forgot to bring my jacket, the moment I step out my car!! Arrrggghhhh FYI the air conditioner in HELP is freezing cold especially in the morning!!!
Sigh, have to face so many obstacles to reach college, can u imagine what will it be like during class? Ok when I reached college, it was already 8.30a.m.and after taking the bus to KPD block it was already 8.50a.m, my plan of doing revision was ruin. Just read a bit, but none of it entered my brain. At first we went into the lecture hall we normally went to every Wednesday, after one of my friend came in and he said that most people that took the same bus with him were not here, and many of them were not here, then only we suspected and went to check and found out that the venue had changed. This time I thank God, because we were able to found it out earlier before the class starts.
Ok now to the test. I don’t have enough time!! Even though I am able to finish the question, but I know that I can do better if I only I had more time, didn’t even have time to check my answers, sad. Now let us focus on macroeconomic lecture. This time me and my friends decided to sit in the front row, middle column, because the lecturer’s handwriting is kind of hard to see from far. This was our first time sitting in that on the front row, middle column, really not used to the place. The place was very warm and humid, because it is near the projector and many people were around us. The situation causes my head to ache. Luckily most of the people left the lecture hall after the break, allowing us to shift to a spot where there were less people.
Despite all the obstacles, there are things that I still can give thanks for. I am thankful that I am alive, able to reach college safely, was on time to college, realize that the venue changed before the class starts, being able to solve/answer all the questions from the test, not shivering during the test (due to the freezing air conditioner), misery ended after the break during macroeconomic lecture, being able to go home smoothly without traffic jam and reaching home safely.
Therefore, always count your blessing, even though you had a hard/bad/sad/depress day. Because God is always there for you, and all the hardship are just trial in life.
